Pedestrians soak up the fall sun as they walk past the LDS Church Office Building on Temple Square in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. This weekend, the area will be teeming with thousands of people attending the 186th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. According to the National Weather Service, Saturday and Sunday’s forecast calls for a slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible after noon. Skies should be mostly sunny with a high near 80 on Saturday and in the mid-70s on Sunday.
